Recent buzz suggested that the film may release on OTT platforms owing to a legal battle between the film’s producers and multiplex owners. However, the producers denied the rumour. They issued an official statement in which they refuted the buzz about the film’s non-theatrical release.
‘Pippa’ is based on the book, ‘The Burning Chaffees’, written by Brigadier Balram Singh Mehta. Ishaan’s last theatrical release was ‘Phone Bhoot’, which also starred Katrina Kaif and Siddhant Chaturvedi. He was recently seen in the short film ‘Fursat’, directed by Vishal Bhardwaj.
